About model version copy

The background to this is that the APO data models are different for orders and time series. With time series the planning area is the most important distinguishing criterion; it is possible to create the same version in different planning areas with different data.

This means that the data that you save in planning version 1 in the planning area do not overwrite the data in planning version 1 in planning area 2.

With orders the data model is different, here the version is the most important distinguishing criterion.

With a version copy via the global version copy (Transaction /SAPAPO/MVM) all planning areas that contain the specified version are therefore also copied.

Copy the version in several steps:

1.Master data and order data: via Transaction /SAPAPO/MVM
2.Time series: via Transaction /SAPAPO/TSCOPY
