Note 649952 - CTM: Order selection runtime with master record selection

Summary

Symptom

You only plan a small proportion of the location products of a model with CTM. To do this, you defined a master record selection containing only a small proportion of the location products of the relevant model. Nevertheless, the selection of the location products (and therefore the entire order selection as well) may take a very long time.

This note can reduce the runtime if your master record selection

• contains more than 1,000 location products and

• contains less than 10% of the location products of the model.

Solution

Implement the advance correction or import the relevant Support Package.
