The background to this is that the APO data models are different for orders and time series. With time series the planning area is the most important distinguishing criterion; it is possible to create the same version in different planning areas with different data.
This means that the data that you save in planning version 1 in the planning area do not overwrite the data in planning version 1 in planning area 2.
With orders the data model is different, here the version is the most important distinguishing criterion.
With a version copy via the global version copy (Transaction /SAPAPO/MVM) all planning areas that contain the specified version are therefore also copied.
Copy the version in several steps:
1.Master data and order data: via Transaction /SAPAPO/MVM
2.Time series: via Transaction /SAPAPO/TSCOPY
